When it comes to buying or selling, how do you choose who to work with?

There are more than 600 Realtors serving the Kingston area!

Do your homework - interview, read reviews, see if you connect well.

Looking for a Real Estate Agent who puts you first?

If you’re planning to buy or sell a home, you want the process to go successfully.

If you’re selling, success means getting your property sold quickly and for the highest price possible.

If you’re buying, it means finding your next dream home and getting into it, affordably.

On top of that, if you’re like most of my satisfied customers, you also want everything to go smoothly, with as little stress as possible.

How can you ensure all that happens? By working with a real estate agent who truly puts you first.

I’m proud to be the real estate agent of choice for those who want a great experience buying or selling a home.

My “clients-first” approach means that you’ll be working with a professional who listens to you,

provides expert advice, and works hard on your behalf.

The Expert by Your Side

When you’re selling: My track record of success means I know how to showcase your house effectively,

market and promote it so that it attracts qualified buyers and get it SOLD for the highest price.

Throughout the process, I’m with you every step of the way,

making sure your questions are answered, all the details are handled expertly, and the entire experience is a positive one.

When you’re buying: My expertise in the local market means I can introduce you to homes that

meet your criteria – and notify you immediately of brand new listings.

I can advise you on what to look for when viewing a home, so you don’t make a catastrophic mistake,

and I can arm you with in-depth details on every property you see.

When you find a home you fall in love with, I know how to negotiate effectively

so you get that property, at the best possible price.

In fact, nothing pleases me more than saying, “The home is yours.”

The Right Real Estate Agent for You

Whether you’re buying or selling, it’s ultimately about realizing a dream. I understand how much the decision will mean to you. In fact, that’s one of the reasons I became a real estate agent – to help people buy or sell a home, while making the process easy and trouble-free. Clients often tell me how much they appreciate my expertise, my willingness to be there with them every step of the way, and my determination to get them the best deal. They also tell me I’m friendly and a pleasure to work with – which is quite a compliment!

*As a real estate agent who puts clients first, I look forward to hearing from you.

I do work with another Realtor - Kim Purcell.

When I vacation or take some personal time away from the business, Kim will handle my clients.

She has great reviews, too!

Care to know more about my background?

Interests, designations, family life? Feel free to read on...

(forgive me for length but some people want to know more about the background of those with whom they do business)

Born & raised in Montreal and came to Queen’s and fell in love with Kingston.

Love the downtown vibe, the great restaurants, the beauty of the 1000 islands, the Kingston architecture,

the friendliness of the city, the proximity to other major cities, and so much more!

Became licensed as a Realtor in 1991 and quickly realized what a great business real estate can be.

“I love working with 1st Time buyers and the thrill that they experience!”, says Kim,

“and I enjoy walking them through every step from start to finish as there is so much to learn,

so many decisions…they need someone they can rely upon”.

“Being patient is crucial in this business as buying and/or selling a home is a HUGE decision

and there is so much info out there that the consumer can easily become overwhelmed”,

adds Kim, “Take your time, I am here whenever you need me”, she continues,

“when you are ready, I will be, too!”. She adds, “no one likes the old fashioned pushy sales person – yuck!”

Having the Accredited Senior Agent designation is a benefit to the fast-growing senior demographic in Kingston.

“Many seniors haven’t sold a home in a long, long time or ever!”, says Kim,

“They really need to be educated and this can take hours…that’s ok! If they’re happy, I am, too!”.

Helping the family deal with an estate sale and coordinating

various services related to the sale (painting, cleaning, reno’s, etc.) is something that Kim

also offers as part of her services. (read more about the A.S.A. Designation and what it means to you by clicking here)

People think that all agents are the same and offer the same services and they

wonder why there is a discrepancy with commission rates.

“Every home is unique and requires a special marketing plan in order to result in a successful sale with a happy seller”, explains Kim,

“Video, floor plans, staging consults, quality flyers, personal service…

Not all agents offer this as part of their service so these are questions one

should ask when selecting a Realtor to sell your home”.

Real estate is very much a people business and you really have to ‘connect’ with your client in

order to have a successful relationship and business transaction.

Kim enjoys working with fewer clients at a time in order to not sacrifice the quality of service that she provides.

She happily grins, “many of my clients have remained in touch well after the deal and

we have become friends…that’s the best part of this business”.

In Kim’s spare time, she loves, loves, loves to travel(!) but need not fear,

it is usually only in the ‘off-season’ and a few weekends here and there.

Kim has a several, full-time business colleagues with whom she partners and who fill in

during these deserved family vacation breaks and ‘me time’. “

It is crucial that the client is never forgotten and that their needs are always serviced!”

Skiing, hockey, family & friend time, cooking and red wine(!) also make up Kim’s life and

are key to maintaining the balance needed in the crazy life of a Realtor.

Kim welcomes you to call and chat about your real estate needs and

she hopes to earn your business and add you to her list of happy clients!
